Working with Banana Republic was a collaborative journey of innovation and education. They sought a tailored approach to learning and development that would empower their teams and enhance operational excellence across creative and marketing divisions.
Through a comprehensive Learning & Development Package, I developed a masterclass series, digital learning tools, and scalable systems designed to streamline workflows and enhance creativity. This project also included leading a panel discussion, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among key stakeholders. The long-term partnership ensured consistent alignment and refinement of systems over the course of three and a half years.
Speaking Engagements & MasterclassesI had the honor of moderating a fireside chat with celebrity stylist Bryon Javar during an inspiring event hosted by Banana Republic at their Melrose flagship store. The event was part of the brand’s Black History Month celebrations on the West Coast, designed to honor Black excellence and creative contributions to the fashion industry and beyond.

Sharing space with Bryon Javar, whose work as a stylist, creative director, designer, and image maker has influenced so many, was transformative. Leading the conversation under the vibrant atmosphere of the Melrose store, with music curated by DJ Asia Shabazz and culinary excellence by Chef Kayla Greer, brought a palpable sense of celebration and connection. The dialogue was rich with wisdom, resilience, and innovation.
Being entrusted with guiding such an important dialogue was humbling. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of leading with authenticity and creating spaces for storytelling that inspire and uplift. It was a powerful moment of unity and purpose, celebrating Black excellence while investing in our collective future.
