{ Long before Living Dvnly was a business, I was running a blog on Tumblr }I'm a mother first. My son is the reason I slow down now, notice the smaller things, and build a life that feels as good to live as it looks from the outside.
I built my platform to discover my own voice. The earlier blogs became a community, then a career I never planned for, built on the same thing that started it all: being honest about becoming, well before I had the language to explain why that mattered.
Fourteen years later, I still ask people some version of the question I was asking myself back then: does this feel like you? Most of what I've learned, across Fortune 500 brands and founders starting from nothing, comes back to that. The gap people feel isn't usually about talent or effort. It's identity outpacing expression; becoming someone before your outward life catches up to reflect it.
Living Dvnly is where I hold both halves of that. The Studio is the strategy and the creative direction. My writing: the fictional storytelling, the personal reflections, and the parts of this work that don't fit into a client deliverable. I've never believed that the many parts of a multifaceted creator could not coexist at once.
( Our Story )Living Dvnly exists to help people live with greater intention by bringing identity, storytelling, creativity, and design into conversation with one another.
Today, through articles, books, education, coaching, and creative consulting, we explore what it means to build lives, careers, and brands that feel as good as they look. Whether we're developing a brand strategy, writing a story, designing a learning experience, or guiding someone through a season of change, the work begins in the same place: understanding who they are before deciding how they should be seen.
When identity and expression are aligned, visibility becomes an extension of clarity rather than a performance of it.
(Timeline)
-
Corporate Beginnings, 2010
I started building my corporate career, working across marketing, brand development, and creative direction long before Living Dvnly existed.

-
The Tumblr Baddie, 2011 - 2012
Before there was a business of my own, there was a journey of blogging. I built my platform to discover my own voice, and it became a community I never planned for. I won my first award in 2015 for whoisamberjanae.com

-
Dvn Oasis, 2019 to 2020
I founded and launched Dvn Oasis, which later became Living Dvnly. Founded on a guiding principle that clarity precedes visibility.

-
First Luxury Brand, 2020
I took on my first luxury-brand client the same year Living Dvnly began, and it set the direction for the caliber of work I wanted to keep producing.

-
Fortune 500, 2021
The Fortune 500 relationships I'd built over the previous decade turned into brand development work through Living Dvnly itself, and I learned the same questions about identity show up at every scale, not just for founders starting from nothing.

-
The Podcast, 2023
I launched the Living Dvnly podcast, a place to hold the parts of this work that never fit into a client deliverable.

-
Global Fashion Brand, 2024
A creative collaboration with Bryon Javar and a global fashion brand. Proof that what works for one founder's brand works at scale too. That work led to the hosting of a masterclass, bringing the same principles to a broader audience.
