Welcome
You're in.
Let's begin.
This portal walks you through the next steps in our work together. Before we begin, I want you to know what to expect — from this form to our final handoff. Everything here is designed to help me understand where you are, what you've built, and what we're working toward together.
The intake and discovery questions below aren't a formality. They're the foundation I work from. The more honest and specific you can be, the more targeted the strategy will be. There are no wrong answers.
What this portal includes:
An overview of your Brand Strategy phases and deliverables
A contact and scope intake form
Brand discovery questions to prepare for our deep-dive session
A document and asset checklist for the brand audit
Estimated time to complete: 25–40 minutes. You can return to this page at any time with the same link.
Your Process
What we're building,
and how.
Brand Strategy is a 4–6 week engagement structured across four phases. Each phase builds on the last — from excavating what's true about your brand to translating that truth into language and direction that holds.
Phase 01
Discovery & Diagnostic
Week 1
We start by understanding where you are before we decide where you're going. This phase includes a comprehensive intake questionnaire (what you're completing now), a deep-dive strategy session, a full brand audit of your existing touchpoints, and a competitive landscape review.
Deliverables
- Session Recording & Notes
- Brand Audit Summary
- Key Findings & Patterns Report
Phase 02
Audience & Positioning Clarity
Week 2
With findings in hand, we map your audience in detail — who they are, what they need, and how they make decisions. We define your positioning and refine your value proposition so it reflects the actual work you do and the people you do it for.
Deliverables
- Audience Clarity Profiles
- Positioning Statement
- Value Proposition Framework
Phase 03
Narrative & Messaging Framework
Weeks 3–4
This is where strategy becomes language. We develop your brand narrative — the story of who you are and why it matters — along with tone and voice guidelines, and a full messaging architecture that gives you precise language for every context and audience segment.
Deliverables
- Brand Narrative
- Tone & Voice Guide
- Messaging Framework
- Key Messages by Audience
Phase 04
Strategic Direction & Handoff
Weeks 4–6
The final phase brings everything together into a Brand Strategy Guide — a comprehensive document you can reference, share with collaborators, and build from. We close with a final presentation session and a strategic direction plan for how to put the work into motion.
Deliverables
- Brand Strategy Guide (complete document)
- Strategic Direction Plan
- Positioning Insights Summary
- All project files delivered in full
A note on revisions
Each deliverable includes two rounds of revisions. Feedback windows are 48–72 hours to keep momentum. I'll communicate any timeline adjustments directly.
Intake
Contact & scope.
A few essentials before we go deeper. This information helps me orient to your business context and prepare for our strategy session.
Discovery
Your brand,
in your own words.
These questions are the foundation of your deep-dive session. They're designed to surface what's already true — the things that often get left out of polished bios and pitch decks. Write as much or as little as you need. I read everything closely.
Brand Audit Assets
What to
gather & send.
The brand audit in Phase 1 requires access to your current materials. Below is a checklist of what to gather before our deep-dive session. Send everything to info@amberjanae.com with the subject line "[Your Name] — Brand Audit Assets."
Required
Current Website URL
Your live website, or a staging link if the site is in development. Include any login credentials if needed for access.
Logo Files
All logo variations you have — primary, alternate, icon/mark. Preferred formats: SVG, PNG, or AI. Include both light and dark versions if available.
Current Bio / About Copy
The version currently on your website or in circulation — even if it no longer feels accurate. Include any alternate bios (short, long, speaker bio, LinkedIn summary).
Social Media Profiles
Links to all active social accounts — Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, or any other platforms where your brand has a presence.
Strongly Recommended
Brand Guidelines or Style Guide
If you have a brand guide — formal or informal — share it. This includes color palettes, font choices, visual direction notes, or any documentation of your visual identity.
Previous Proposals or Service Decks
How do you currently present and sell your work? Proposals, pitch decks, service guides, or rate sheets help me understand how you're positioning in practice.
Client Testimonials or Feedback
Screenshots, documents, or email threads containing client feedback — positive and constructive. What clients say about working with you is often the clearest signal of your brand truth.
Optional — If You Have It
Mood Boards or Visual Inspiration
Pinterest boards, saved images, or screenshots of brands, aesthetics, or visual directions you're drawn to — even if you can't articulate why yet.
Previous Strategy or Positioning Work
Any prior brand strategy documents, positioning exercises, or identity work — even if it was never implemented. Knowing what's been tried informs what we build next.
Content Examples
Blog posts, social captions, newsletter issues, podcast episodes, or other content pieces that feel most representative of your voice — what you'd point to as "this is me at my best."
Send everything to info@amberjanae.com with the subject: "[Your Name] — Brand Audit Assets." You don't need everything at once — send what you have now and anything else before our deep-dive session. A Google Drive folder works well if you have multiple files.
You're all set
Onboarding complete.
The work begins.
Thank you for taking the time to move through this carefully. Everything you've shared gives me a clear foundation to work from. Here's what happens next.
You'll receive a scheduling link within 24–48 hours to book your Phase 1 deep-dive strategy session. This 90-minute session is the live complement to everything you've filled out here.
If you haven't already, gather and send your brand audit materials to info@amberjanae.com — subject line: "[Your Name] — Brand Audit Assets." Aim to send these before the deep-dive session so I can review them in advance.
I'll review your intake and discovery responses before our session. If anything needs clarification or if I have initial observations, I'll reach out via email ahead of time.
Following the deep-dive session, I'll move into Phase 1 findings and the audit. From there, we proceed through Phases 2, 3, and 4 across the full engagement window. You'll receive each deliverable with a feedback window before we move to the next phase.
Questions before your session? Reach out directly.
