Studio Onboarding

Welcome Elliot.
Let's begin with clarity.

A note from Amber

This portal is the first part of our work together. It exists to give our collaboration a strong foundation.

What follows will take roughly 20–30 minutes. There are no right answers here. The most useful thing you can offer is specificity about where you are, what isn't working, and what you're actually trying to build.

What this portal covers

01
Our Process

A clear look at what happens from start to finish, and what each phase asks of you.

02
Your Details

Contact information, brand basics, and project scope so we can hit the ground informed.

03
Discovery

Deeper questions about your identity, vision, and what's not working at the moment.

04
Documents

Where to share existing brand files and how to retrieve your deliverables.

How We Work

The process,
start to finish.

Every project moves through four phases. The pace varies by scope, but the sequence doesn't. Each phase builds on what came before — which is why we don't skip ahead.

1

Phase One

Clarity & Discovery

We start with a focused discovery conversation; we likely may have already covered this step. I'm listening for what's misaligned, what's been outgrown, and what the work actually needs to accomplish. This is where strategy begins, before anything is designed or written.

Weeks 1–2
2

Phase Two

Strategy & Narrative

Brand strategy, positioning, and messaging frameworks are developed from the clarity established in Phase One. This includes audience definition, differentiation, and the narrative architecture that will guide everything that follows.

Weeks 2–4
3

Phase Three

Creative Direction & Identity

Visual identity, creative direction, and aesthetic systems are built as a translation of the strategy — not a departure from it. Moodboards, typography, color, and design language are all rooted in what we established in Phase Two.

Weeks 4–7
4

Phase Four

Delivery & Integration

Final deliverables, brand guidelines, and asset handoff. We close with a walkthrough session so you understand how to use what's been built — and what to do when you're unsure.

Weeks 7–8

Discovery

Your brand,
in your own words.

These questions are designed to surface the things that are sometimes hard to articulate. Write as much or as little as feels right — I read everything closely.

Document Exchange

Files, assets,
& what to share.

Before our first session, it's helpful to have a few things in front of me. Below is how we'll exchange files throughout the project.

↑

Upload Existing Brand Files

Share any existing brand assets, inspiration, or reference materials — logos, style guides, copy documents, screenshots, or anything that gives context to where you are now.

Accepted: PDF, PNG, JPG, AI, EPS, DOC, DOCX, MP4, ZIP

Open Upload Folder →
Replace this link with your shared Google Drive or Dropbox upload folder. Ask clients to label files: YourName_FileName.pdf
↓

Retrieve Deliverables

As the project progresses, completed deliverables — strategy decks, brand guidelines, creative direction documents, and final assets — will be organized and shared here.

Project Communication

All project communication happens via email. Response windows are typically 24–48 hours, Monday through Thursday.

A note on revisions

All Studio projects include two rounds of revisions per deliverable. Revision requests should be consolidated and submitted as a single document, not in real-time during review calls.

Onboarding Complete

You're in.
We'll take it from here.

Your intake has been received. I'll review everything carefully before our first session, so nothing you shared gets lost or treated like a checkbox.

Expect an email from me within 1–2 business days with next steps.

01

Check your email

A confirmation summary will arrive within a few minutes. Check spam if you don't see it.

02

Upload your files

If you haven't already, drop any existing brand assets into the shared folder before we speak.

03

Wait to hear from me

I'll follow up within 1–2 business days with your discovery call link and a note on our first session.
