My Favorite Vanilla Latte Recipe
If you tune into my YouTube series The Coffee Corner, than you know that I love me a vanilla latte. I had a few of you ask what my go-to recipe is and I am happy to share it with you all. If you’re a fan creamy lattes and love the convenience of coffee shop beverages at home, this homemade vanilla latte recipe is perfect for you! For my recipe, I use Nespresso Veranda Blend coffee pods and steamed almond milk. If you don’t have a Nespresso machine at home don’t worry, you can sub for your coffee and milk of your choice.
Ingredients:
1 Starbucks by Nespresso Veranda Blend coffee capsule
1 cup almond milk (unsweetened or sweetened, depending on your preference)
1-2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)
Optional: Whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or vanilla powder for garnish
Equipment:
Nespresso Vertuo Creatista Stainless Steel machine
Milk frother
A heatproof mug or latte glass
Instructions:
Brew the Coffee
Insert the Starbucks by Nespresso Veranda Blend capsule into your Nespresso Vertuo Creatista and brew directly into your favorite heatproof mug or latte glass. The Veranda Blend’s light, smooth flavor pairs beautifully with the vanilla and almond milk.
Prepare the Vanilla Syrup
Add 1-2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup to your brewed coffee. Stir well to incorporate the flavor into your coffee base. Adjust the syrup amount based on how sweet you like your latte.
Steam the Almond Milk
Fill your Creatista’s milk cup with 1 cup of almond milk. Choose your preferred froth level (medium froth works great for lattes) and set the temperature to your liking. Start the steaming process, allowing the machine to create the foam.
Combine the Coffee and Milk
Once your milk is steamed, slowly pour it over the espresso and vanilla syrup mixture. Use a spoon to hold back the foam, then gently spoon the foam on top for that signature latte look.
Optional Garnishes
For an extra touch, top your latte with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or vanilla powder. This step is completely optional but adds a lovely visual and flavor boost.
Tips for Customization:
Swap almond milk for oat, soy, or dairy milk if preferred. You can also use Starbucks Vanilla Latte Non-Dairy creamer.
Use a sugar-free vanilla syrup for a lighter option.
For a stronger coffee flavor, brew a double espresso using two Veranda Blend capsules.
