This past February, I had the honor of moderating a fireside chat with the remarkable celebrity stylist Bryon Javar during an inspiring event hosted by Banana Republic at their Melrose flagship store. The event was part of the brand’s Black History Month celebrations on the West Coast, designed to honor Black excellence and creative contributions to the fashion industry and beyond. Sharing space with Bryon Javar, whose work as a stylist, creative director, designer, and image maker has influenced so many, was a transformative experience.
